I don’t have an answer for you, but this is very interesting!! I have endometriosis and have been on Lupron for 1 ½ years(therefore no period because it puts you into temp. menopause) I also have been on pain medication for 2 years due to pelvic pain, disc hern., and leg pain. I have never heard this before. However, when my fertility doctor found out that my pain management doctor was putting me on the Duragesic patch, he had a fit. I thought he was just unsympathetic to my pain. Maybe there is something more to this theory?!?!? I sure would be interested in the answer to this question and why and how narcotic (therapy) would affect the reproductive organs! Then again, it is a catch 22.....without the meds. It is difficult to function. However, I have been taking Lupron for an overextended amount of time to try and save my reproductive abilities!!! If you find anymore info on this topic, please don’t hesitate to post it!!!
