OK, so I went into the RE today because I already had an appointment scheduled, and today was my last day of referrals from my insurance company. So, I met with the RE, and he suggested starting injectibles, then I got the call from my insurance company saying my next set of referrals was "approved contingent upon my benefits." So, I was like, "well, that doesn't really help me because my benefits are saying now that this isn't covered." I then skipped the baseline because I was certain this wouldn't be covered and went back to work. When I got back to my office, I had a message, and I said to myself, "wouldn't it be nice if this was the RE saying my referrals went through." and, it was! So, I called the insurance company again, and she said she was looking right at their own website, and it said that all treatments, including blood work and u/s, are covered up until the patient does IUI, then its not covered anymore. Well, dh and I have been doing timed intercourse! I asked her to double check it since two people last week told me it wasn't covered, and she put me on hold for about 10 minutes. Then she came back, said she checked with her supervisor, and the referral department, and it is covered I asked her to put it in writing, which she said she will (still waiting for the fax, her supervisor had to review the letter first). So, back to the RE for injection training and baseline, everything looked good - no cysts this time, and I took my first shot of follistum tonight (75 ml). I am so excited, but afraid at the same time that they are going to come back and say this isn't covered. Regardless, the insurance paid for enough medication for probably 3 or 4 cycles

Thanks to everybody for listening to me @#*&^. Now, I will have tons of questions since I am starting injectibles. Sorry so long, just wanted to tell my story.
