If you have, tell me how long it took for you to get pregnant with the one open tube using IUI. How many tries using IUI, or any other procedure with the one open tube etc... I look forward to hearing from you. ALL answers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks sooo much.

Hello there I got pregnant with just one tube in general. I had my left fallopian tube removed in 88 due to a large abcess that didnt respond to IV antibiotics. I got pregnant in Jan of 1990 while on the pill but I was also taking antibiotics for a strep infection so we all know what that does to the BC pill. My daughter is now 12. I got pregnant again in 1997 ( wasnt trying too either ) but I lost my baby at 3 months gestation due to uncontrolled bleeding. So it is very possible to concieve with one tube open even naturally. You can only get pregnant every other month though since your ovaries take turns dropping the egg. So say out of 12 months in a year with one tube open you have 6 chances to concieve. I hope this helps you a little. God Bless.
Autumn.

Wow AutumnAngel, your information really helped alot. I didn't even see your response. Well I am grateful for your information. However, like I said, my left fallopian tube just like yours, is blocked or has an abscess in it. But my right fallopian tube is open. I didn't even start my donor sperm program yet but I just wanted to know if I can still get pregnant even with one fallopian tube open and using
donor sperm IUI. So, thanks your information was very helpful in more than one ways. It was helpful in letting me know that I can still get pregnant with one tube open and it was helpful in letting me decide if I should just have my left fallopian tube removed because I have an abscess there plus I am taking oral antibiotics for PID and if the PID comes back, then it is high time for me to have this left fallopian tube with the abscess removed. So you did help me alot. thanks. Respond if you like.
