I called Planned Parenthood (which does not have a gyn or endo. doc. so they did basic test's for thyroid and other abnormalities in the blood) to get my results today and she said everything was O.K meaning that the preg. test was neg. and their were no signs of PCOS in my blood but still recommended that I keep my endo. appt at the end of the month. So I will still keep my fingers crossed and it does not sound like any new information.

I have a question for all with PCOS already, what to do about hair growth on my chin I don't have a lot but I am constantly in my face pulling out hairs or tweezing does anyone elso do something that works. Does vaniqua help or no?

Hi there.

Definitely keep the endo appt. My bloodwork is completely 100% normal yet I do have PCOS. No hormone problems, sugars/insulin normal, no high male androgens, LH is normal. It was really tough to diagnose me, to say the least.

I don't have excess hair so I don't have much to offer you in the way of ideas, but I have heard lots of ladies being pleased with Vaniqua. You might try the PCOS website [url="http://www.**********s.com."]http://www.**********s.com.[/url] The message boards there have a board called "Hair In The Wrong Places" where ladies discuss their tips and tricks for getting rid of unwanted facial hair.

I have lip wax every week...

excessive facial hair is a BIG thing on PCOSers...don´t discard the possibility of PCOS yet.

also, I have some "funny" hair around the nipples , around and under the belly buttom, and on my inner thighs. They are a little bit longer than the normal hair on my body, and my RE recognized it immediately as a "male pattern hair" or something like this..

I have extra hair everywhere I have hair on my chin chest, breast, a trail by my belly my thighs. I am glad to know I am not the only one.

Plm.........pl. don't take any test reports for granted.I had very regular periods from the beginning until 4 years back when i started skipping 2-3 times a year. All my blood test ,lap resuts were normal .Just last month i consulted an RE who confirmed that i had mild Pcos.
