Big day tomarrow - Infertility Message Board

Tomarrow's the big day...surgery! I'm having a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy at 7 a.m. I go this afternoon to my pre-op appointment. I'm a little scared since I've never had surgery before. I want to get it over, done with and back on the path to a baby. Talk to you soon!

I had the same procedure done in February 2003. I was a little scared as well. I have not had any surgery done until that time. Everything went fine. I was sore afterward and slept a lot. I took one week off of work. I had the procedure done on a Friday and felt better by Wednesday the following week. Take some time to rest. Go rent some videos and sleep when you are tired. Do not plan to clean the house or move around too much. You will be sore. Have dh pamper you as much as possible. Mine did and I was very greatful for that
