Gonal-F verses Follistim?? Is one better than the other? - Infertility Message Board

I just ended the BCP and started Lupron. Within my order of meds is Gonal-F, which I chose over Follistim to save some money. Although I heard that Follistim is more effictive?? Could this be true? I just need some other opinions/advice. Our insurance does not cover any of this & my husband is not leading me to believe that we will have the opportunity to try again if this doesn't work the 1st time. So if there is ANYTHING I can do to make this cycle more successful, I will pay the extra money!!

I am so nervous, I just want to make the right most educated decisions I can!

My friend is a nurse for a RE and insisted I use Gonal-F and not Braville. Gonal-F is more expensive and it worked for me....got BFP on the first try. I really don't know th difference between the two.
