My Second Beta Results Are In ... IVF - Infertility Message Board

Hi all ~

My second beta results are in.

April 23: 375.1 14dp3dt

April 30: 9,296.0 21dp3dt

Dh called the hospital to get my numbers and he had to ask the nurse TWICE just to be sure the (.) was in the right spot.

Wonderful news...do you think you have multiples? those number sound awfully high....how exciting!!

JodyC: My first U/S was on April 28 - the gestational sac measured 6.3 MM

I will have my second U/S on May 5 - I think the doctors like doing this because they told me that even if they couldn't see anything b/c it was too early they still want to look.

Tmerone: Thanks. I don't know about multiples b/c it's possible. My doctor transferred 4 embryos on April 9th. It's too early to tell but my doctor did see ONE gestational sac on April 28th. I should know more May 5th ~ keeping fingers crossed. I've never in my whole life seen a number that HIGH before. I'm in total shock. My doctor said that number was excellent.
