I saw a new RE today. Even though today is day 6 of my cycle, he was going to start me on a Clomid/HCG/IUI cycle again. But first he had to do a base line u/s. They found a lining in my uterus not completely shed from last period, a large cyst in my left ovary and many little follicles in my right ovary. The dr. said these are probably left over from my last cycle.

After finding these, he said I had to wait a month to try again. This month I have to take bcp to get rid of cysts, and then month I can ttc again. This sucks! The 2MW (two month wait) is much worse than the 2ww.

So, since I won't need it this month, I'm sending all my baby dust your way. Good Luck to everyone who is in 2ww now.

Mindoo - I know exactly how you feel. I too, had to go on the bcp last month, when I was just about ready to start the Pergonal. I wanted to scream everytime I popped that pill in my mouth. Sometimes I felt like not even taking it, but then quickly came to my senses and realized I had to in order to proceed. I also had cysts and they went away in two weeks. The level of the bcp was so low that I started to spot so I had to double up on the pill in order to finish the pack.... Anyway, I completely know where you are coming from - try to keep your head up - you want your body to be as healthy as can be so that when you do get pregnant, you are 100% healthy! What's worse than the 2 month wait? The 3 MONTH WAIT.
Yes, ladies , 3 months after a Rubella shot for my body to build up antibodies so I can be protected during pregnancy!
I too, felt like screaming when the RE told me I had to have the shot and wait fot 3 more months before tcc again! I cried instead.
I usually post on the pregnancy board, on the ttc buddies thread, but sometimes read the posts here, as I've also gone through some of the tests you have.
I just want to say to you, Mindy and Jen that I feel for you and want to send you TONS of babydust for your "bank"

Jen and Nela, thank you for the replies and understanding. When I got up this morning, I had a much better attitude. I was able to focus on the good things that happened yesterday. I think I found another good doctor who will try things a little differently. Maybe an adjustment in my treatment is what I need to conceive. (My old doctor moved out of state - so finding a new doctor is a bit of a releif.) Also, this new doctor is a little cheaper than my old doctor. He will let me pay the insurance discounted rates rather than the full rates.

Again, thank for giving me an outlet and thanks fot the understanding. In the whole scheme of things, this 2MW will probably be over in a blink of an eye.

BTW Nela, what prompted the dr. to give you a Rebella shot?

I had the same exact situation--all ready to start Pergonal and had to sit out a month due to cysts. The nurse told me I didn't HAVE to take the BCP's so I didn't. We'll see how wise that decision was. Anyway, this month has just dragged on while I wait for AF so I can go back to the doctor. She's due to visit march 8. It seems like on months when youre doing all the medical procedures, it goes by quicker, because you have little timelines to meet for each thing. Another note--the paper this morning had an article about a family with quads that just turned 1yr old. All perfectly healthy and properly developing. Of course, you guessed--mom took fertility meds 1 mo prior to conception.
