Has anyone had their follicles stop growing? - Infertility Message Board

I just got back from the dr. Two days ago, CD 8 I had several fol between 8 and 10 mm; and a whole lot that were less than 10. Today, CD 10; I had about 6 that are 10; 6 that were 8-9; and a lot below 8. I have taken my 2 amps of Bravelle since CD 3; so any ideas why they aren't growing? My dr is great and I really trust her; but when she said that it would be okay, she sounded disappointed. She really was excited two days ago, but not today. This is sooo aggravating all of my friends are suddenly pregnant and they can't figure out why I am having problems so young. After this month I'll only have one more chance before the summer of 2004.

Thanks for listening to me whine a little. If anyone has any ideas about what is going on with my follies please let me know. Thanks again.

I'm sorry honey - I'm angry for you. Maybe Bravelle just isn't strong enough? Or perhaps you should take more amps...I honestly don't know what could contribute to that, I wish I did to make you feel better.

It happened to me when I took clomid, even when I was taking a higher dose (150mg). It was before glucophage (I take glucophage XR 2000mg daily) ...now, I ovulate on my own..

Thanks, you guys are great. I took a nap with my son and am not feeling like it is the end of the world now. I guess I'll have to try new meds or hope these suckers grow.
