Hystosalpingogram - Infertility Message Board

I need some info from someone who has already had a hystosalpingogram...I have to one tomorrow morning and I am scared to death. How painful is it really?????

Mine was so long ago, it seems, but it really wasn't THAT BAD and I'm a wussy when it comes to pain. I do remember having some cramping though.

Hopefully others will be able to post their experiences before you have to leave this morning for the procedure. If not, try doing a search in the Infertility board for HSG or just spell it out. If I remember correctly, there was a thread about this not too long ago!

There was a big HSG thread the other day. I will see if I can bump it up for you . I think every ones experience with this test is unique . the best advice I can give in retrospect is to trying to stay calm + relax and not worry too much in advance. the test is rather uncomfortable but is does not last long . I went to work right after mine . best of luck tomorrow.
