Finally a positive ovulation - Infertility Message Board

I am so happy to report that today when I tested for ovulation I got the positive test I have been waiting for. I can now go in tomorrow and get my first insemination done. I was so excited all day that it was hard to keep my mind on anything else.

I know that I am going to have to wait 14 days after the insemination so I am trying to stay calm.

Question has anyone here gotten pg with their first insemination? I have no health problems but I know that using frozen sperm decreases motility. Just wondering if it could happen?

Also is there anyone here from Canada?

I am a Canadian, but live in California. I don't have a success story for you, I did 2 round clomid/IUI this year and 1 clomid/IUI, and 1 IVF last year. Right now I am in the last day of my 2ww of round#2.
What treatment are you on? clomid/IUI? or inject/IUI?

I had a problem with long cycles so my doctor put me on clomid this month and i am getting my first iui tomorrow.

I am just so excited that it is happening. Last month I was sure there was something wrong with me. Turns out my cycle went 41 day but I lost my brother to an unexpected death so maybe my body just wasn't ready for this.

I am really hoping to have a positive within the three units I have waiting at the clinic. To be honest this has been a costly indevour but it will be worth it if it works.
