It's no biggie, just a light anaesthetic and it seems like seconds later you're awake! No effects from the anaethetic and no soreness or discomfort as they generally take the eggs vaginally. I had to travel home by train to London a couple of hours after the procedure and was absolutely fine. Could've gone back into work the next day but decided to take it off as I was too nervous to wait fo the results at work!
