6 day embryo transfer feeling crampy - Infertility Message Board

I had my embryo transfer done on June 6 2003 and since then I've been experiencing cramping on and off and my stomach is bloated like I'm having twins. What does this mean. Can anyone help me? I keep thinking maybe AF is coming and the cycle - well may have not worked. I have my pregnany test on 6/17/03. Please help me stay positive. Thanks...Marlene : )

Hi M. Welcome to the board!!! Congrats on your transfer. I am currently waiting for my retreival on Sunday. I don't have any advice on the cramping. Hopefully it is implantation. Some of the women on this board experience cramping and some do not. You've waited to come this far, so the next few days should fly. You test on Tues!!!! Baby dust to you.

Thank you for your kind words. Best of luck on your retreival on Sunday. Not to worry - you will do GREAT! As for me I will continue to think postive thoughts and be the happy go lucky person that I usually am. I will keep you posted when Tuesday comes. It seem like an eternity until then. Marlene,
I remember little twinges on both sides during my 2 WW.
It's those little embies attaching to your uterus!
Just be sure and take it easy and don't lift anything!
I also was really bloated. I'll keep you in my prayers!
Keep positive! It can happen on your 1st IVF. I am proof of it!

Boundi - How did you make out with you egg retrieval on Sunday? I'm sure GREAT! I go tomorrow for my test and my husband and I am so nervous! Have a nice day! M
