uterine polyps causing infertility?
Does anyone have any info about uterine polyps and their relation to infertilty?
I am a cervical cancer survivor and just had a hysterscopy to determine the state of my uterus and was found to have uterine polyps.
Am waiting for pathology results now but looking for info if its out there..
any advice?

Hi,

I'm an ovarian cancer "survivor." I use that word loosely because the cancer was found so, so, so early that some doctors would go it a borderline case. That being said, my best advice is to talk to a gynelogical oncologist. This type of oncologists specializes in the reproductive system and will have (hopefully) answers to all of your questions.

I am in the middle of fertility. I had a uterine polyp removed 3 weeks ago. Once the uterine polyps are removed and the uterus is healed, then there is a place for the baby to attach. They can grow back, but just take it one step at a time. It isn't bad to have them removed. You go to the hospital, given some nice drugs to put you into lala land. When you wake up - all better! I am not sure if they can cause you to not ever get pregnant, but I do know that they don't help.
