Well......Went to the RE, broke down and cried (not sobbingly just a little)and said she would LOVE to send me right to IVF BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT TTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! the BLOODY insurance co. makes you go thru THREE ROUNDS OF IUI/INJECTIBLES BEFORE YOU can get to go onto IVF!
That is when I brokedown and cried!I said MY AGE IS A Huge FACTOR HERE! they told me insurance companies don't discriminate!! I said age has EVERYTHING to do with it..!
arghh! anyway... I am stuck doing 1 more round of injectibles 3 amps of Gonalf- If i dont get my AF of course!!!!!!!(maybe Ill get lucky and be preg! )and this nightmare would go away!!!!!!!!
So ILL START LAST ROUND OF IUI/INJECTIBLES in SEPT.
AND THEN onto IVF! The RE did say it can take a few days to a few weeks (3-4 weeks)to get all paperwork in order.She did tell me to tell the nurses to tell them per the doctor to move on the paperwork when I am ready for my IUIs for the iVF protocol.. i fugure by Oct. Id start the iVF or November the latest. If i get one round in Ill be happy. She said Id go to IVF class and IT depends on where I am at with my cycle!!!!
If i can sneak ONE ROUND OF IVF IN BY DEC. Ill be a happy cramper !!!!!
NEXTLY..I asked her to lay it on the line..what are my chances for IVF at 38? she said...30-40% chance!
I said what is it with iui/injectibles/? She said 20%
And I wouldnt do ICSI. I would prob do ZIFT or GIFT. SHe said icsi is for very close to zero counts etc..SHe said my hubs were Borderline. She also said if the counts got really low at time of insemination for regular IVF>.theyd do an EMERGENCY ICSI instead of the other kind of iVF>
Omg..this is enough to drive someone to drink! SHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
who ever thought Id be in this position (im sure u guys feel the same way!!about yourselves! It su**ks.!
