testing early - Infertility Message Board

Okay, I am a total whimp. I picked Thurs as my self imposed 'test date' and I whimped out and tested yesterday instead. I didn't have to pee that bad, so instead of waiting, I just peed a little on the stick and of course it was a BFN. I called my OB today and told them that I am up to CD 38 with no AF, BFN on the pee stick, what do they want me to do? I have a history of 2 m/c possibly due to low progesterone, so they said to come for a blood test. I am going over there in 20 minutes and now I am very nervous. I have all kinds of symptoms that could either be PMS or preg. related, so I guess I'll have my answer either way in a few hours. I'll let you know when I know.

Sorry about the BFN. BUT it was only a little drizzle. Maybe did not get enough on the stick???? Let us know how the doc appointment goes.

I am crossing my fingers and everything else for you. You did only pee a little, so that could be a very good thing

Also, it sounds like you might not have tested first thing in the morning. They say when you're testing early, you need to test first thing in the morning so enough HCG has accumulated in your system. Hoping for good results for you at the OB!!

Very frustrating. I got there when they only had about 20 minutes left in the office, so they drew my blood and will have to wait until tomorrow to get the results...AND they don't have hours tomorrow until the evening.Aggghhhhh!!! I'm trying to decide if I'm desparate enough to get someone at work to look up the results for me(they sent the blood to the hospital where I work) Just don't know if I want anyone else knowing my business-besides you guys of course
