1ST MONTH OF CLOMID..WHEN DO I START USING OPK'S? - Infertility Message Board

I am on 3rd day of 50mg..when do I start using the ovulation predictor kits? also I ovulate but very late so I assume I'll ovulate earlier on clomid? I also have a short luteal phase 7 days ..should I do the robitussin too?

My doctor told me about a week after I finished my clomid. He also gave me guesediphene (sp?) instead of the robitussin, it is the ingredient in cough syrup that makes better mucus. You should probably call your dr and make sure if he wants you to take other otc medicines, and to verify when to start the ovulation tests.

Hi! I had longer cycles before Clomid too - usually O around day 17. The Clomid did shorten my cycle to O around day 13 or 14. I was told to start OPK on the evening of day 12 and to come in the next day if I saw ANY color at all. Good Luck!
