| Can anyone help?
Hi. I am trying to get feedback from people who have successfully gotten preganant after using Bromocriptine. I'm just a bit questionable about Bromocriptine because my former ob/gyn put me on the medication in October. Over the course of three years, my ob/gyn tested my prolactin level three times---all results were "somewhat" high. Because I was having very slight headaches, my doctor referred me to a neurologist. He ordered an MRI to scan for pituitary tumors(none shown) and thyroid tests (normal). He suggested that I see an endocrinologist if I was concerned about getting pregnant. So, I went back to my ob/gyn. Since my periods are regular (every month every 27-28 days), my doctor felt that this was a good sign. He put me on Bromocriptine. When I learned that my doctor was leaving his practice, I saw a reproductive endocrinologist. He was puzzled about the medication I was on b/c he felt that there was another medication that lowered prolactin and had a higher success rate, but he left me on the Bromocriptine (due to how well I was tolerating it) for 3 months to see what would happen. I am now keeping a record of my cycle events for my new doc. I am using OPKs and they say I am ovulating. Again, any info. about Bromocriptine and experiences with the medication would be helpful.

Wish me luck.
