| Methadone the reason?
OK so me and my fiance are getting married in 2 months. We are both really wanting children and we're pretty much ready to start trying after we get married. My concern is he's been on methadone for about 5 years and takes about 10-15mg a day for his chronic lower back pain. He cannot get off it because the pain is too much for him. I am not on any kind of meds and have been off Birth control for over 5 years. He also has a very low sex drive and we have been kind of "quiet" in that department because of it. I will not have him put on Androgel since I have read the negative effects it has on male fertility. I just need to know if that low of a dose of Methadone over that long would cause him to be infertile? I know we haven't really tried yet but we're just wanting to be as productive as we can when we do start trying, because we both have good jobs but not the kind of money fertility experts will want. And I'm not sure what our medical insurance covers (if anything) in the fertility department.
He is 38 and I am 27. I'm looking for vitamin/herb suggestions on how to naturally raise low T since I'm pretty sure he has it. Also looking for natural ways to improve his sperm production. We don't know how it is yet but it can't hurt to help it along in any rate. Also looking for some feedback on Clomid which I heard is an often prescribed medication for fertility issues in both men and women. Any help or information is appreciated thanks!
