i have herd a few people praise saline nasal spray for blocked e tubes. mine arent totally blocked just feel pressured alot and ache at times!
Cant handle sudafed!

Also if i can not take sudafed what do you think the doc will do next?
Instead of saline sprays...try a nasal lavage. Purchase a baby suction bulb and use it to squirt saline solution into the nostrils. Mix a half teaspoon of salt into a cup of warm water. Fill the bulb. Lean your head over the sink to the left. Squirt the solution into the right nostril. Repeat it with your head leaning over to the right and squirting it into the left nostril. Then do it with the head to the left and squirt into the left nostril, repeat it to the right.
After you blow your nose...you'll hear popping in your ears...that's clearing out the eustachian tubes. I can hear ever so clearly after that!
You can do this once or twice a day, but know that the salt can actually cause drying of the passages. If it irritates too much, just do it once a day for a while. If you use less salt, the water will sting the passages also. Too much salt will as well.
Sudafed does work great, too bad you can't use it.

I am bummed about the sudafed! one day it makes me tired the next it makes my heart beet mad!! as i am an anxious person this drives me nutty!!
When you say 'a cup' how much is that? in ml. Also is it safe to do that, incase water gets stuck in the tubes. Just checking.
I also found a product called 'otigesic' it has a pain reliever, antisetic and decongestant (phenylephrine) in it!! its ear drops!
Why did the doc not give me those i wonder? have you herd of them? i would prefer to use something like that! sounds like what i need!

That stuff is the nasal spray stuff. its in pills too! but i suppose the pills give you more side effects as they reach the whole body, the ear drops dont have many side effects apart from an itching feeling for a while.
Theya re also called tympagesic, i really want to know about them.
