| Re: Epley Maneuver?
No, the epley does not necessarily make you dizzy, though of course when they turn you onto your affected side you will go dizzy for a few seconds. I have had several epleys and walked away just fine. But the therapist put a collar on me (I was told to bring one with me the first time I went) as soon as I sat up. Had to keep it on for 48 hours to help prevent sudden or extreme head movements. Also had to sleep sitting up for two nights - all this is classic post-epley treatment. After that, not to lie on the affected side for 5 more nights. Maybe this is what you are doing? Also, even though it wasn't stressed to me, I found out the hard way not to bend over too much during those 5 days, just to be careful to give everything a chance to really stay well and truly in place.
