| has anyone ever experienced this ?
Hi everyone,
It has been a while since I have been on these boards. Subs answered a few questions for me last time. Just to recap: Last April I bent down to pick something up and I felt a little nauseated. It lasted about a good hour. Then a week later I woke up and I could not move my head because If I did I would feel so dizzy. That episode lasted around six hours. I have not felt the same since, but I have been improving gradually. This also happened when I was fifteen years old and then when I was thirty five. Now I am thirty nine and I thought I was through with this!! I was wondering If anyone has been experiencing the same symptoms that I have been tolerating: It is that time of the month for me so I always feel a little worse. Last night I went to tai chi class and we have to bow in three times and I felt so much pressure in my ears, also when we were doing downward dog. I also feel nauscous and things are moving in my vision, nothing feels grounded as well as myself. I will move my jaw a certain way and my left ear will pop and then I feel fluid in my ear and then i hear this crackling sound. I have been to ent's and neurologists the last neurologist i went to said she wanted to figure out if it was MAV or inner ear so she put me on valium 2mg 3X's a day for a month. The doctor said that valium will relax the inner ear. I have to say I actually felt better. So she thinks It is an inner ear disorder but does not know what I have. I have not had a episode like I did last April thank god. If it is BPPV can it keep coming back like this? Thank you for any insight!!
