I'm not a hundred percent sure, but my ear doctor said that my eustachian tubes are inflammed and that causes a negative pressure (which I think means different from outside pressure) and that causes my ear drum to be sucked in a little and cause the ringing I have right now. I'm trying to take antibiotics and maybe prednisone to get rid of it. I'm hoping for the best. There is something definatley wrong with them. I feel pressure and they pop and click all the time. I just need the noise to go away.
Do you have any dizziness or ringing?
I did. I had labyrinthitis, which is a viral inner ear infection. It throws your balance off, and for me made me feel like I was moving around, even though everything around me stood still. Did the dr. tell you, you had negative pressure in your eustachian tubes? Eustachian tube problems can make you feel dizzy.
