Question Dizziness, temp. hearing loss, concentration problems....

And the list goes on. Hi. I was told I might have an inner ear disorder or a vestibular disorder. I'm not sure if those are different or the same. I get so many symptoms I can't even list them all. But room spinning dizziness, fullness in one or both ears (usually they are itchy and irritated for a day or more before they get that full feeling), which leads to temporary hearing loss (fun), and I get all tired and feel like the world around me isn't real and I can't concentrate on things even if I really, really want to. What could this be? What might I do about it?

Hi Glassless

..."inner ear disorder or a vestibular disorder. I'm not sure if those are different or the same."...

Same thing.

...."What might I do about it?"....

There a a number of things that can/need to be done---did they(Doc's) say what type of Inner Ear/Vestibular Injury u have---this would determine--what the next treatment step would normally be,i.e., BPPV=Epley Maneuver, Lab = Med's settle down vertigo/spinning, MAV etc....

They all end up after the initial treatment---with VRT---to force the brain to compensate for the injury

At least for most that is the way---it goes.

A lot of symptoms---is normal---since a lot of functions are involved.

Take a look at the info in the sticky---first post on the board.
