Question for Subs

You are so helpful and full of information!

I was wondering if this is typical...

Lately, I have noticed that I am having brief moments of feeling much better..98%-99%...only a few hours. Then the dizzys come back. In addition, lately...my vision seems to be my biggest hurdle...it seems to be more in the forefront of my symptoms now.

When your vision was an issue...when you tested it...would you get headaches, or pressure in your forehead? Seems to me, that it is getting better...but I am noticing more head pressure...

Thanks for all your help Subs...I am so glad you are feeling 100%!

Re: Question for Subs

Charlotte,

If your getting periods where you feel much better, thats a good sign. What you have to do (because everyone is different), is compare it to how you were. Have you always gotten these periods or are they new, and if they are new, enjoy them.... Its a good sign...

Re: Question for Subs

Come..I have had this for about 4 months...but got into VRT at week 3. I have done VRT plus exercised religiously for the entire time. I believe this helps. I am not at 100%...but have had 2 really great nights this week (followed by some crappy days)...

My eyes seem like they are just not catching up...they seem to be causing the disequlibrium now...I think.

Tummy, you are such a great support. You have a wonderful attitude. I hope you are feeling better...you deserve it.

Hi Charlotte

Yep that is exactly how it went----few day/hours of 98-99%--followed by days of less then that---followed by days of 98-100%---it varied--around alto---then it switched----many days of 98-100% with a few days---of a lot less---followed by---days of 100%---then a set back---lasting weeks---followed by a much longer time of 100%---till in the end at 13/14 months---straight 100%.

While many things affect the compensation(%)---vision was always in the forefront----it was the very, very, very last thing to go---I had no headaches/pressure at all---at any time---during the the recovery period---but remember----no two people are alike---during recovery----with this stuff/junk---similar---overlapping---but---each of us---has certain differences---that occur during the recovery period----but for most---we make it!!

Sounds like ur doing everything right---(four months)----I did not get to were u were/are until 12/13/14 months---so ur doing good/excellent!!

Yep---still at 100%--Knock on wood!!

Hey, I know you had specific vision VRT...I know you had vision issues prior to (labs/VN)....

Could you tell me what visual exercises you were given?

Hi Charlottoe

The normal vision VRT exercises---plus---one that went something like this:

Look at an object to ur left about twenty feet away and slightly higher--fix the object in center view----then look at least twenty feet to the right---at same level---fix an object---close ur eyes---and return to the first object(with eyes closed)---open them---that(first) object should be in the exact center view---close ur eyes and go back to the other object---open them---that object should be in the center view----continue doing it until---u always have the object in the center view when u open ur eyes.

Then do it for horizontal---then perpendicular---do about ten each---twice a day---for two weeks---or until---u always have the object centered---when u open ur eyes---do these in addition to the other vision(normal) VRT...

Not sure if that will---deal with--ur vision issues---it did help me!
