Ear fullness question

All of you who have had fullness in the ear...

Did you get over it? Does it come and go, or did it go and has not come back?

My PT says it is Eustatian tube dysfunction..and that it doesn't do damage, but can be annoying...

Mine seems to get worse after I exercise...wierd.

Re: Ear fullness question

Hi Charlotte. This is my 1st post here. I have been dealing with labs/vn for about 10 weeks now. I have read everyones post and can relate to the plethora of symptoms. Yesterday and today my left ear feels so full, like there is an echo, I had not experienced that before. Suprisingly the dizzies are less intense, but now this weird ear fullness. Maybe thats why its called Labyrinthitis, because its like a maze and every time we feel close to finding a way out we hit another wall. But we will find a way out soon.
Next Tuesday I start VRT I hope this speeds up the process and/or helps.
Keep positive
Vivs in so. Cal

Re: Ear fullness question

I have had my ear pressure problem a few times and they all went away. I started getting them 3 years ago. My first episode was after a cold and the inner ear pressure stayed with me for 2 months. Last year I had it again and it stayed with me for about a month (this was during allergy season). This year I got it again and I have had it for the last 3 months and this is the worst of them all. Mine is pretty bad usually when I drive. When the fullness subsides I am left with a constant ringing. The times I do feel best is when I exercise (cardio) or when I am taking a hot shower. So I am getting the feeling that most of my symptoms are caused by muscle tension and anxiety. Hopefully we all can recover from this soon. Good luck.
