Received copies of my test results - Inner Ear Disorders Message Board

I received copies of my test results today. The Neuro's office said all were normal so I request copies of the tests. Every test has an impression listed. The most interesting one is from my ENG test. The ENG states Bithermal caloric stimulation induced a severely reduced response from both labyrinths to both warm and caloric stimulation. Anyone else have a result like this?

Anybody? My tilting sensation and dizziness seemed to go away for about two weeks ....... tilting started again today but I didn't sleep more then 3 hours last night. ~sigh~ I think all my symptoms, doctor visits and no diagnosis is starting to give me anxiety problems.

I'm with you! Same thing for me - I can't get a certain diagnosis and my test results came in yesterday with once again, a NORMAL result.

Not that I want something wrong with me, but the more tests that come back "normal", the further searching I need to do!

I think I will ask for a copy of the test as well just so I can see it.

Hang in there (I know the anxiety sucks big time!). We will get to the bottom of this sooner or later (hopefully not later).

Hi Missy,

I definately would get copies of your tests. Over the phone they told everything was normal but there are impressions listed on every test result except the CT scan. At least I can bug my GP about looking into these further. Some days I really think I am loosing my mind!
