| Fist time poster, long time sufferer.
My current neurotologist seems to be at a loss as too what my problem is. He is convinced that it is not BPPV, perilymph fistula, menier's, or superior canal dehiscience (sp). He asked me what I think it is. I told him that I had recently been reading about vestibular migraines. He agreed that it is possible, but scoffed slightly since I am a male.
I have ear fullness, tinnitus, dizziness, nausea, and headaches. The level of symptom severity fluctuates. You already know how these can affect your life.
He prescribed propranolol (3 doses already, on a 3 week trial). It is making me feel light headed (what else is new?) although the ear fullness seems to be gone. Or, atleast at a lower level. This has helped slightly with the nausea.
Any experiences with this drug? Any suggestions. I am not used to asking for help, so I don't really know how to.
