Question about "hearing loss"

Does the hearing loss associated with Menieres, etc. refer to actual, permanent hearing loss or temporary hearing loss? In my case, one ear will "plug up" temporarily and ring for a minute or two. However, my normal hearing does return before long.

Hi

...."Does the hearing loss associated with Menieres, etc. refer to actual, permanent hearing loss or temporary hearing loss?"....

Meniere's Disease----In most cases, a progressive hearing loss occurs in the affected ear(s). A low-frequency sensorineural pattern is commonly found initially, but as time goes on, it usually changes into either a flat loss or a peaked pattern...
