Question - Please help

Hi guys.

Recently my skin has started to itch really badly. It is driving me quite insane. It's worse at night time, and it normally wakes me up as well. I was wondering if anybody else has had this kind of symptom.

Re: Question - Please help

1) Is it all over?
2) Is it red?

Best go see a dermatologist as I dont think that the skin would necessarily be affected, however certain skin conditions flare up in times of stress... Also, I get a little itchy as well, but because I get night sweats and sweat all night.

Re: Question - Please help

I have had episodes of itchy skin and excema behind knees and in elbows etc, never suffered with it before this, doc just said it was anxiety related. Try taking some Piriton and see if it calms down.

Re: Question - Please help

Thanks for the replies.

yes, generally it is all over, it is not red until i start scratching. but i have noticed little red bumps sometimes appear too. it is winter here at the moment and i'm really just hoping it is dry skin. i'm loathe to see a doctor because i really have no faith in them anymore, which is terrible. But I guess i will have too. (sigh)
