That this must be a decomp cause I am not feeling any better. Here is how is went I started different VRTs had 2 to 3 days of yuckiness then started having 2+ weeks of good days then 2+ weeks of "bad" days but these bad days I think were just yucky good days cause now I have had 3+ days of very bad bad bad bad days......And this is wretched. Feel like crap getting up in the a.m. dizzy lightheaded swaying all day and even a little nauseous....I hope I even get yucky good days soon. How long do we think this decomp could be ?
I know how fustrating this illness is. Everyday is different and everybody wants to be normal again now. Every decomp or blip you have will be different. Some will last longer then others and some will be more severe then others. Just think that whe you have bad days your brain is recalibrating, and that is a good thing, another step towards recovery. Try to think of it that way. You will recover, it may take longer then you want, but keep yourself busy and your vrts and you'll look back one day on this board helping others.
Walking is also good VRT, try a mile a day. The worse thing is to sit at home. This blip you are having may last a week or a few weeks. It all depends on what new things you have done for your brain to calibrate.
D&S I know you want an endpoint. I know you are searching for "this will last only 1 week"...but the truth is, we don't know how long it will last. All we can tell you is that you will have good days and bad days...and then it will get better and better.
I would :
Start a calendar...marking good days and bad, blips
get out and exercise, or consider a vhs tape for yoga
really try to work on your anxiety...It has been a huge factor for many...
You are getting better, it just isn't immediate.
Again, if you need support..we do have a dizzy support group in Portland.
