Age: 40

How long have you been dealing with this: 5 months

Diagnosis: Migraine

What helps you deal with your symptoms: Advil for minor to moderate headaches, Vicodin for severe headaches, Ativan for dizziness, Reglan or Compozine for nausea. Avoiding triggers is the best bet (but very difficult).

Age: 32

How long have you been dealing with this: 17.5 months

Diagnosis:BPPV and inner ear weakness

What helps you deal with your symptoms: VRTs, running, biking, walking. My friends that stood by me during this horrific ordeal. I could say I am 99-100% with a few blips here and there throughout the day. Mainly small vision issues left. It took along time and alot of work to get here, but it was sure worth it.

Just wanted to add, that dont forget we all can/will recover. Its just a gitch in our lives.

Age: 39

Diagnosed: VN 8/2006...12 months...noticed real improvement month 7, 9, 11 & 12...now mainly dealing with visual crap.

What helps: exercise, walking, badminton, good support system - friends, boards, family, getting a good nights rest, eating well, keeping as positive as you can..., doing the things that make you worse so you can compensate...
