Drop Attacks

Has anyone else ever experienced a drop attack? I was diagnosed with Meniere's after experiencing a drop attack. I was in my hallway walking and next thing I know I'm on the ground, somehow my husband was able to catch me in time from hitting my head. It was pretty scary, but I wasn't down long. I never know when another one might happen and am afraid of it happening anywhere outside my home. This has only happened twice, but I fear others seeing it happen to me. I don't know what causes them, or if there's a way to know when one is coming on?

Thanks
Teresa
