Hi Guys,

Well, I'm back on the SSRI bandwagon. I started Lexapro 4 days ago at a super low dose and today cranked it up to 1/4 tablet or about 2.5 mg. At the same time I've cut SJW down to nearly nothing which should end the IBS troubles. I'm already feeling the adjustment in good and bad ways. I'm quite dizzy and getting clobbered on the PC screen (tons of vertigo and feeling like I'm sliding off my chair all the time) but mood seems good so far and all is relatively stable. The good news is there's no Cipramil like side effects yet although it could be too soon to judge. What I'm hoping to avoid are the aches and pains Cip gave me. If this stuff delivers without that, I'll be happy with this I think.

Anyway, I'll keep you all posted as to whether or not this stuff works and what sort of side effects it brings.

glad to hear Scott! But at the same time, sorry to hear about the increased dizziness. Even at such a low dose, I guess it can't be completely avoided, but it will pass im sure :-)

Hi Scots,

I hope you begin to feel better this very day. The big dizzies that you mentioned could be just due to the trigger and not the med. Hang in there, I freak with all meds (I am the one that panicked with the thought of large doses of Ibuprofen for a neck thing!!!!!!) so I can relate. I have to say, as I have said before, I am on more meds now (3 preventatives) than I ever have been in my life with virtually no side effects what so ever...well except the good side effects....I feel better, I sleep better etc...

We are with you every step of the way!!!

I forgot to mention below, that computer screen is a trigger for me as well!!! And yet here I am on it....but what would I do without all my dizzy friends?!?!? So I guess the trigger is worth it. The computer screen, even down to the lowest brightness, gets me very very woozy and a bit nauseas sometimes as well......
