While looking into finding a quiet room at my office where I could lay down when I had bad dizzy episodes, I found out that one of the people I know here has Meniere's Disease. I never expected to find someone at my office with first hand experience with inner ear problems and I never would've guessed that she was dealing with something like this, too.
It helps to know that I have a sympathetic voice here to speak up for me.
