hi,
i can completely relate. My mom had something similar happen to her aswell. 2 years ago she had very bad dizzy spells/attacks. They started after she got her ears flushed. this went on for months and no doctor found nothing, she saw three ENT doctors and they found nothing. Finally she got referred to a neurologist but one that must have gotten her phd from a gumball machine. She told my mom that she had a stroke and was having seizures. She put her on all types of medications, but it just made her worse.
finally she got refered to another neurologist just last week and she was told that she never had a stroke or seizures and that it is a inner ear embalance.
my mom went to a vertigo clinic aswell and they said they couldnt figure out what was wrong.
if your mom's symptoms keep persisting, then get the doctor to take a MRI or CT SCAN. this can rule out
anything that has to do with hear brain. also ask to be refered to a neurologist if the ENT continues to say there is nothing wrong. doctors can be a big pain in the butt.they will say there is nothing wrong but if your mom is still having the symptoms, then they need to do something. it has been a very frustrating two years for my mom, we had given up hope in doctors all together, but i hope from her story we can save some people some time in trying to find a cure for their symptoms.if you have anymore questions feel free to ask all you want. hope this helps, my prayers are with you and your mom, take care, allie
