Thanks to some of you folks' discussion of TMJ and some suggestions based on my symptoms, I am now pretty sure I have a TMJ problem, which I am going to try and get checked out as soon as possible. I may have had a case of lab along with sinusitis to begin with, but I think it progressed to or developed along with the TMJ. I have been doing lots of research on TMJ and have become a regular on the TMJ board. I will be visiting both a neurologist (my second) and a TMJ in the near future. I am a librarian and do a lot of searching in our electronic databases, including Medline. There are interesting links between TMJ and inner ear disorders. One recent study linked TMJ with Meniere's. I will keep you updated about my doctor visits. I am in a lot of pain, but I'm happy to think I may get some treatment soon.

I am so thankful I found these boards. You people are the greatest. Wish we could have an online party somehow.
