Not really sure if it's inner ear related...........
Well I'm new to this so bear with me.....around the first of November of last year I had a dizzy spell that lasted a few minutes and then went away. Since then I have had occassional "dizzy" spells, although it's not really dizziness so to speak. I have read here on site, where several people have described a "dream-like" state or an unsteady, swaying, heavy head feeling. There has also been the occasional "buzzing" in my head, and I have often times felt pressure on and off in my sinuses. I can get really congested at times, but seem to produce no mucus or discharge of any kind.....I blow my nose and nothing comes out. But yet I still feel stopped up.......then on other days I can breathe freely.....also it feels like pressure, or at least I think it to be pressure, around the ears, and I have had a bout with TNJ......there's also the swaying or rocking feeling....but the worse of the symptoms has to be the "unreal" or "distant" feeling that I so often get. It's as if I'm too wide eyed, things around me get to be too much to take in at once. I also read where one person described part of it as coming inside after being out on a bright day..........like there's a dimness to your surroundings. All of this compiled on top of each other thus causes unbelievable anxiety which only increases the effects of what I'm already feeling.......I guess my question is, could this all have started and still continue to be from an inner ear infection or perhaps sinus infection of some sorts?
I have an appointment with an ENT specialist later this month, but I don't know if that's the direction I need to go....just searching for a friendly ear to listen to my problems, and offer any advice...........
