hello again everyone... i think im going craaazy, my head is so foggy i cant concentrate on anything, i feel like im missing out on so much of the world because i dont feel like im connecting with it properly. i sat down to try and do some maths work the other day - im back at uni now - and i couldnt focus on it mentally. this is driving me mad!
the question is, is this a result of STRESS? all the doctors ive seen seem to think there is nothing wrong with me and i keep being told that stress can cause a lot of things. i know many of you have gone through the same thing.
i was very stressed last year but this all came on during the summer when i was very relaxed, and i have been reasonably relaxed even since i got ill. so how can it be stress?
i can understand getting colds and stuff as a result of being run down but a foggy, swimming head?
ive got a bad cold at the mo, and its that time of the month so maybe those things are making it worse? my ears are all blocked up too. will this really go away if its just stress? my balance isnt affected just the clarity of my mind... so perhaps its not my inner ear, im posting on here though because you lot seem to know lots!
i know hbep and lots of you have tried to advise me before, which has been fantastic and you are all so supportive. but im starting to doubt myself now because i dont feel i have really clear symptoms to present to specialists. i feel like people think im imagining this all, and if it is caused by stress then maybe i am?
aaargh! im sorry this post is one big whinge but i dont know what to think! i know i sound stressed lol but im really not...
i know i should try to see a neuro-oto but i just feel like it will be a waste of time and theyll think im wasting their time because having a foggy head doesnt seem like a "real" problem like vertigo or whatever...
