Newbie Here-with ear infections. - Inner Ear Disorders Message Board

Hello All
I have had this ear infection for 2 months now. I mean ear pain. It is so bad that I almost started to cry and I couldn't go to the mall with my mother because that's how much the pain was. It is in my left ear. The first doctor was an LPN she gave me some drops but it didn't do any good so I went a week later and got different drops but it didn't do any good too. I still have an ear infection. It is my left ear and now my right ear is killing me also. What could be wrong with me? I am going to the doctor's tomorrow. What are they going to do? A CT Scan, admit me to the hospital? Write Back Soon Please.

hi ya
do u have an infection of the middle ear? that is so so painful, if so have u had antibiotics? i think u have suffered it to long.....perhaps u have glu ear but i thought your doc would have spotted that. i hope u get it sorted soon, can u take an over the counter med for the pain?
good luck with your next appoinment, get some answers.

I had a ear infection sometime back in the past, the doctor gave a prescription for pills that were $5.00 a pill. I said no way I'm going to pay that much. I had read about an herb that was great for ear infections, and it was fast working, and the pain was gone soon after the first drops went into the ears. The remedy is Mullein flower/Garlic oil.
