HI Larlaz
don't give up! I totally understand how you are feeling I have moments of sheer desperation and feel so depressed with the dizziness which has affected my life to the point I am frightened to go out socially for fear of having an "attack". I keep trying to tell myself that by Xmas everything will be a lot better, who knows but you have to stay postive. We are all here to support each other as best we can and having a group like this helps you to know there we are not alone! Try and keep a PMA. My ENT guy told me to try NLP, so imagine all these soldiers are marching to your bad ear with lots of antibodies to help fight the infection! Sounds insane but it does work. They aslo told me to visualise how I felt at the worst point, to put it in a picture frame and to bin it. This is kind of hard when you don't get good spells very often but keep trying! I got a steroid spray which I use daily and also use a saline spray which you can buy from the chemist and you can use as often as you want. This helps a bit in keeping your eustacian tube open. Hang in there buddy, people on this board are proof it can get better..... sending you a big smile!
