Inner Ear Issues + Video Games = Dizzy
Hello everyone. I had suddenly "lost" my hearing temporarily about a year ago while driving down the highway. Ever since then, both ears though alternating (particularly my right ear) has had the "full" feeling, and I have experienced very slight loss in hearing during this time only. This has ONLY been mildly annoying for the past year. Well recently, my parents went out of town last week and I played a ton of video games (I'm a gamer...) over a period of about nine days. This particular video game has a warning on the inside cover of the manuel about seizures and epilepsy, dizziness, disorientation, etc. I've played this game before and have felt just fine afterwords. Well this past Friday morning (after playing that particular game before I went to bed the night before for six hours), I woke up (was lying on my left side with my head also on it's left side) and I was extremely dizzy to the point that I got extremely nauseous and ALMOST vomited. I thought that this dizziness was because of the particular game I was playing (lots of lights, flashes, fast movements, etc.), but now, I'm not so sure. I went to a movie this afternoon, not too loud or bright or flashy or anything. I have been working on my laptop (sitting a foot in front of me on my stomach) for about an hour now, and I got up and felt mildly dizzy again, like 2/10 on the "dizziness scale" (10 being very dizzy). Friday morning was like 8 or 9/10. I'm starting to think that this is more related to my sight than my hearing. Though my right ear, low and behold, has the "full feeling" again, though minor.
Should I see a doctor at this point? I have chosen to limit my TV, Computer, and Video Game to a minimal level at best, I still have work to do on my computer... Please help...
