drum sound in my ear

I was showering today and I think some water splashed into my left ear. Now when I bite my teeth together or produce any other form of light shock to my head, cheek, neck area such as tapping or hitting it, my left ear sounds like a high tom drum from a drum set.

when I leave it along it feels like there is a pressure in my left ear, but it doesn't make a sound and I don't hear anything else unusual. I can hear perfectly fine still out of my left ear.

Can anyone please tell me what is wrong with my ear?
