Hey guys. Ive been suffering with dizziness and imbalance for 4 1/2 years now. Ive been to all of the same doctors i think bascially everyone here has been to. Had MRI's, blood tests, been to numerous Neurologists. After what seems to have been a lifetime this is all they came up with
They found horizontal nystagmus in my left eye when doing that test where they put goggles on your face and watch your eyes as they tilt your head back.
I was asked if i had a thyroid test and they did find that i have hypothyroidsm and i just now started my meds for that. Can metabolic disorders like Hypothyroidism cause chronic vertigo?
My doctor has recently told me to start looking for answers elsewhere because 4 years is a long time for an inner ear infection.
No hearing loss
Im fed up and just plain tired. Ive had friends that have had this after me and have gotten better before me. I feel like a lost cause.
