4 year old with ear infection since Thanksgiving HELP!!!!
I have a 4 year old son that had his first ear infection in November of 2000 he has been battling these ear infections since that time. After being on a series of antibiotics and seeing the doctor on a weekly basis (which is NOT cheap) I asked my sons doctor so refer us to a pediatric ENT. He refused and said he could treat this infection. My son has not been able to have antibiotics for the past few weeks due to the fact he has had soooo many. Can anyone tell me what may help cure this infection.

He isnt around cigarette smoke or pets. Thanks so much.

GET ANOTHER DOCTOR.

Your son's health is more important at this point that your doctor's opinion, since your son is no better.

If your doctor will not provide a referral to a specialist, you have two options: 1) get a new physician, 2) call your insurance provider and tell them you want a second opinion and why.

By law, you can get a second opinion on any insurance coverage.

Why are you waiting?
