Feels like air is escaping from my ears after I talk.
i'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this on, but i'm desperate, so here goes.
for the past month or so my left ear has been ringing much more loudly than usual. it feels quieter also, almost "full" so to speak. i've noticed that when i speak a word or a sentence, the pause that follows initiates what feels and sounds like a rumbling rush of air escaping from my left ear, and this is by far my most debilitating symptom. it makes me feel disoriented and almost dizzy after it happens, and as a result, conversation has become quite tedious. i also experience loud clicks in my ear after i speak and after hearing loud noises. i've considered that it could be TMJ, but it has nothing to do with movement of my jaw, and only seems to come about when i make noise or i hear sharp loud noises externally.
the strangest part about this is that it usually doesn't happen while there are noises in the background like music, white noise, crowds, etc. only when it's quiet. but there are exceptions, and i have heard it while there was background noise before.
about a week ago today i went to a doctor about it. he checked my ears and told me my ear was infected. he gave me anti-biotics and anti-inflammatorys, which i've been taking on schedule every day, but none of my symptoms have improved, not even a little bit. in fact they seem to be getting worse, but perhaps that's just because i'm focusing on them and testing them out all the time. i have a follow up appointment for my infection in another 8 days, so hopefully i can get some answers.
does anyone have any opinions or advice?

Hey man! Each and every thing that you have written is similar to what happens to me, absolutely the same.I made a similar post on this site yesterday and wrote the exact same thing, today I was going through random posts and found this one and I'm shocked to see how similar your symptoms are to mine.I too feel it only in my left ear. You can imagine how similar our situation is.This was my post:
I've been suffering with Tinnitus, which is quite serious even during the daytime but particularly harsh at night.Even though I have had a little Tinnitus for a couple of years, recently what I'm starting to feel is that every time I speak I feel a little pressure in my left ear, like someone is blowing air into it.And it only lasts as long as I speak. It feels like just when I speak, something inside my left ear temporarily moves from it's position and gets back to normal just when I stop speaking. And any loud noise causes me a little pinching/distress in my left ear.And I recently got all the wax from my ear drum removed so it's not that either, maybe it's my eardrum, but I don't understand why I feel discomfort in only my left ear when I speak something or hear something loud.
Somebody help me with this please? What exactly is happening in my left ear and how serious is this?
Have you found a solution for this yet? Please help me too if you have!
