No medicine help: Swollen or clogged due to dryness or foreign matter
PAIN CAUSED BY FOREIGN MATTER OR DRYNESS ON MUCOSA (PAIN WITHOUT AN ORDINARY BIOLOGICAL CAUSE).
If a patient suffer from unexplainable pain without fever, and this lasts and lasts, it's not caused by viruses or bacterias. Most physicians and ear/nose/throat (ENT)-doctors don't have imagination to look further than psychological causes then, but the origin maybe dryness or foreign matter making the body produce strange symptoms and signs.
UNEXPLAINABLE PAIN IN THROAT, EARS and/or HEAD
The pharyngeal opening of the auditory tubes (eustachian tubes) is "between" the mouth and the nose. They normally opens when the soft palate rise (motored by f.ex. swallowing and yawning).
If they fail to open, air-pressure produced in the mouth while swallowing or air-pressure unballance in-/outside the eardrum, may cause pain in throat/swallow, ears and/or head.
Air-pressure pain are not visible on "pictures" (MR, CT, and so on), and though not understandable for doctors.
AUDITORY TUBES NOT OPENING BECAUSE OF DRYNESS OR FOREIGN MATTER
Being so close to the mouth, both foreign matter and lack of moist may affect the mucous around and within the tubes. Due to dryness and/or foreign matter, the tubes may stick together and stop opening.
Dryness or foreign liquid are not visible on "pictures".
AIR-PRESSURE PAIN OCCUR IN DISTANCE FROM THE OBSTRUCTION
When the tubes fails to open while swallowing, the pain will occur in the most fragile part of the body where the air-pressure builds up. And that may be somewhere else than the obstrucion.
For air-pressure to be created, there have to be a "closed" room - f.ex. a tube with closed ends. From the mouth, the auditory tubes and the swallowing tube (!) meet this criteria. While swallowing - the air from the mouth may flow through is the auditory tube or the swallow.
ORDINARY FLOW OF AIR AND SOLIDS (FOOD AND LIQUID) FROM THE MOUTH WHILE SWALLOWING (both auditory and swallowing tube are crusial)
While swallowing, the mouth is filled with both air and solids (food/liquids). The soft palate rise, the entrance of the auditory tubes opens up, the toungue pushes/presses the food and liquid down toward the throat/swallow. AND THE AIR is pressed into the auditory tubes!!!
AIR-PRESSURE PAIN WITH ORIGIN IN AUDITORY TUBES THAT FAILS TO OPEN
If the entrance to the auditory tubes fails to open, all the air-the pressure in the mouth are pushed down into the swallow. The entrance to the breathing tube is closed by the spiglottis and both the solids and the air is now being pressed down into the swallowing tube. The top of the swallowing tube is closed up, so the "solids" don't go up again.
The conditions for the air-pressure condition is fulfilled (a closed room with air) and the air-pressure pain may begin...
