jflores555 Newbie (female) Join Date: Oct 2012 Posts: 1	Nervous about Surgery My doctor is suggesting removing my ear drum and sealing off the ear canal completely to solve reoccurring problems with infections, drainage issues, etc. I have damage from radiation treatment which has gotten worse over the years. I understand the logic behind it (for my case) but just wondered if anyone has heard of it before.
