Left ear hurts and feels funny after ear tube removal
So this past summer I had an inner tube placed in my ear for fluid. I couldn't deal with it so had it taken out like 3 or 4 weeks after the surgery. Ever since the tube was removed my left ear hasn't felt the same. I wouldn't say that I lost hearing, but the inside of the ear hurts and the pain kind of numbs the feeling of the ear. This also has led to a constant headache I get from the moment I wake up to when I go to sleep. Its affecting my interaction with people and my family. Its also affecting my concentration in school. I think this headache is a cause of the ear issue or is is just the stress of it all? I know my head is OK because I went for an MRI in September and they said everything was fine. Does anyone know what I am going through or speaking of?

Hi there, did you ever get your tubes removed and if so, how did they do it? Was it painful? I've had mine for three weeks for ETD and I'm debating getting them removed, but I'm not sure how complicated the removal is compared to the insertion. Thanks!
