Labynthitis ~ symptoms from hell

Hi all, I have recently joined this site to try and gain some insight, help, and support into Labynthitis. I have been suffering with it for the past week, and was diagnosed today. It's the most awful virus, and I am so upset to hear it can be longterm. My gp has given me one month supply of medication. I experience vomiting, dizziness, off balance, senstive to smells/light/tastes, screeching tinitus, anxiety. Please help.

Re: Labynthitis ~ symptoms from hell

My husband had it and was all better, totally better, within a month.
He was given Antivert for dizziness and that made him feel worse. Once he stopped taking it he improved quickly.
